Summary

Managing all NPI requirements and process improvement projects in silicon operations.


What you will be doing:


Control delivery of NPI projects to milestone dates and budget.
Manage communication to project stakeholders (customers, sales team, regional engineering managers, Sondrel leadership team)
Monitor yields and manage yield improvement projects.
Contribute to and Manage Sondrel NPI capability.
Liaison with the Solutions Architects team to ensure alignment during the development phase to ensure that the device is able to meet the agreed customer and supply chain requirements.
Develop detailed Package and Product Qualification Plans and hardware for new product introduction. Oversee the qualification testing of new product and package technologies per Joint Electron Device Engineering Council (JEDEC) standards.
Provide the Reliability Stress test routine and review test program conditions for ESD and Latch-up Stress requirements for each device pin, based on the product datasheet and on corporate specifications.
Identify root cause for customer returned units, perform risk assessment based on manufacturing data analysis and failure analysis findings, and implement targeted corrective action(s).
Perform rigorous characterization data analysis using statistical methodologies for a characterization report.
Monitor manufacturing (sort, assembly, test) yields versus expected yield, and implement yield improvement and cost reduction solutions in production.
Generate a Product Change Notice (PCN) for any production test and/or product design changes.
Post-sales interfacing to customers, as required, in support of the Sondrel commercial team to ensure that revenue ramps can be supported.


Qualifications


Essential

A bachelor’s degree/masters or PhD in a relevant subject.
Five (5) years or more experience as a Product Engineering or related occupation in new product introduction (NPI).


Desirable

Management, project management and business/operational qualifications (CMgr, MBA, PMP or Prince certification – any of)

Solid technical background with understanding of IC supply chain ecosystems
Excellent client-facing, internal communication and conflict management skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office


Desirable



Proven working experience in operations /supply chain project management in the IC sector.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Jira
Good appreciation of a variety of project management methods and tools – waterfall, V model, agile etc.
