Summary
Hand picking of apples and pears, working as part of a team with a supervisor. This job is outdoors and picking takes place in variable weather conditions. Heavy lifting is involved so applicants must be physically fit with no muscular problems. Work begins late August and lasts about 5 weeks. Must be able to travel to Plaxtol for 7.30 start, Monday to Saturday inclusive. Normal working day is 8 hours, may work more hours if orders dictate. Pay is £11.44 per hour, must have bank account and NI number.
