Summary
Roche Health Care are looking to recruit a Maintenance/Handyperson to join our friendly team at Hartshead Manor
Salary: £12.00phr
Hours: TEMPORARY - Full time or Part time (20-40hrs) - 8.00-5.00pm
Car owner driver preferred
Possibly weekend call outs for emergencies only
We provide a range of care and support services for our older residents, some of whom have dementia.

Main purpose of the Job
To carry out day to day maintenance on the fabric of the building, its services and grounds in order to ensure that the care home is maintained in a safe and a fully functional manner
Education Level
General maintenance knowledge i.e. minor electrical, plumbing, joinery work etc.
Experience
Understanding of central heating systems, laundry equipment, able to undertake painting and decorating roles.
Evidence of high level commitment to personal development, training and education
Personal Qualities
Have an ability to communicate effectively at all levels. To be able to work efficiently and compentently alone.
Willingness to receive training on all current health and safety issues to include moving and handling, fire training etc.
To be a kind and considerate person who is innovative and caring.
