About the role

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Concierge to join our team working nights on a permanent basis in East London.

Reporting into the Estates services Manager, you will be responsible for providing a service that is welcoming and an effective access control service which ensures a clean, safe and secure living environment for our tenants at Leaside Lock in East London. Your role will consist of cleaning, access control, CCTV monitoring & Security patrols.

You will be required to spend 50% of your role patrolling the estate (including buildings) and promptly recording and reporting all incidents (including fly tipping, minor repairs, litter picking, graffiti, and safeguarding alerts). There will also be a requirement to undertake light cleaning of customer amenities in preparation for reopening the following day, along with other cleaning tasks to the estate/buildings as required.

Our Concierge team all lone work on a shift basis covering 24/7 so you will be included in the rota which consists of 4 Days on 4 Days off - working nights 7pm - 7am.

What we're looking for

We're a customer-focussed organisation so we know that how we do things is just as important as what we do. You'll not only have experience in a customer service environment, but you'll also have great customer service skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done.

You'll also be able to demonstrate:

Essential:

  • Previous Concierge experience in a residential setting
  • Good time management.
  • Good team working skills and flexible approach to work.
  • Good level of IT skills and knowledge of CCTV operation.
  • Direct experience of working with customers and customer feedback in a service delivery environment.
  • Understanding of the importance of health and safety compliance.
  • Good oral and written communications

Desirable:

  • Experience of using Dwellant (concierge software)
  • Previous experience of operating CCTV, including compliance with the Information Commissioner's CCTV Code of Practice
  • Contractor management and experience in the delivery of estate, cleaning, caretaking and maintenance services
  • Experience of Health and Safety legislation and best practice in the delivery of estate services
