Shift Pattern: Please see attached (includes mid-week and weekend working)

Please note:-This is a temporary vacancy to provide cover for a position that will be taken up by certain permanent employee in due course.

South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture are looking for enthusiastic and motivated individuals to join the team in Outdoor Recreation mainly based in East Kilbride. The successful candidates will travel throughout East Kilbride, Hamilton, Blantyre and Cambuslang in an SLLC vehicle and will spend other shifts based at one of our facilities.

Your duties will include travelling between South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture facilities, equipment set up and derigging, building checks, manning facilities, cleaning and litter picking, and generally supporting the team in the maintenance and health and safety of the Outdoor Recreation facilities.

Please note the successful candidate will be expected to drive and hold a valid full UK manual driving licence is required.

Responsibilities

To ensure the cleanliness is of a high standard in both internal and external areas

To ensure that health and safety equipment is maintained

To be responsible for the opening and closing of the facility

To assist with vending when necessary.

To assist with porterage services between leisure facilities

To deal with customer enquiries and ensure customer care standards are adhered to

Responsible for the security, monitoring and ensuring management rules are adhered to.

To prepare and recover equipment for the use by the customer, colleagues and the stakeholder.

The Individual

Must hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence
