Summary
Producing a variety of child-friendly cakes, sweet treats and a hot pudding for up to 1,000 pupils, staff and teachers daily.
Working within a professional chef brigade to deliver freshly-made, innovative menus.
Being responsible for your own section.
Baking from scratch and fulfilling bespoke hospitality requests e.g., afternoon tea
Undertake Company training and comply with current Food Safety & Health Safety policies.

Love baking but need more family friendly hours? If you are currently working as a professional baker or confectioner in a high volume school, restaurant or bakery we offer sociable hours, day shifts and every school holiday off, including Christmas.
You'll be working 40 hours 5 days per week, term-time only at Ashville College, Harrogate. Salary is in the region of £26,000 pro rata, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments.
We're easily accessible by public transport from Harrogate or Leeds. Free parking, free gym membership, meal on duty, uniform provided.

Qualifications
Must have proven experience of high volume bakery production and professional kitchens.
Must have the right to work in the UK and the ability to pass an enhanced DBS Check.
