Join our Team as a Band 6 Registered Mental Health Nurse in Truro

Are you an experienced Mental Health Nurse with experience supporting patients within the community? Newcross Healthcare is seeking Band 6 RMNs to join our team in the Truro area. With a vast network of active clients, we have a wealth of flexible nursing work available, whether you prefer ad-hoc shifts or long-term bookings within the NHS, private hospitals, the community, or care homes we can offer both full time and part time hours, depending on your requirements.

Shift rates:

    • £24.43 per hour - weekdays
    • £34.44 per hour - Saturday days, weekday nights
    • £44.70 per hour - Sunday days and nights, public holidays

    As a Registered Mental Health Nurse with Newcross, you'll be providing comprehensive mental health care to patients within the community, conducting thorough assessments and will develop individualised care plans. You will be able to administer medication and monitor its effects, maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the highest quality holistic care.

    Requirements:

      • Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC Pin
      • Significant experience as a Band 6 Nurse in mental health settings
      • Proven experience in community mental health support
      • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
      • The right to work in the UK
      • A minimum of 6 months post-qualifying experience in a mental health nursing role
      • Evidence of valid PMVA training
      • Up to date PVG check and proof of immunisations (Hepatitis B, Rubella, Varicella, TB and Measles)
      • Up to date Mandatory skills for Health Training

      (We can support with DBS, training and immunisations if required)
