You will be responsible for

What I do:

  • I understand how all IT systems interface with each other in the business
  • I assess and validate how any new solutions fit within the existing architecture
  • I work with the business to design new solutions/system changes relating to Relex
  • I propose technical solutions to meet business requirements or fix any existing business issues
  • I ensure any new systems comply with required security and audit standards
  • I deliver system in accordance with group information and One Stop IT security standards
  • I manage projects relating to Retail systems systems
  • I provide 3rd line support to the business inside and outside of core working hours
  • I manage & conduct work activities in such a way as to ensure the safety, health & welfare at work of all colleagues & customers

Skills I Need:

  • High technical understanding of IT systems and interface methods
  • Planning skills
  • Good communications skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to People Manage to assist in the development of a team
  • Previous experience in a Solution Architect role
