Brook Street Social Care is recruiting on behalf of a client specialised in supporting children and young people in their every-day activities to create them the opportunity to enjoy life from a young age regardless the challenges they have experienced previously.
The organisation is due to open a brand new Residential Home for Children in Salisbury and they are seeking for a Deputy Manager to join the organisation.
About the role:
- Support the Registered Manager and act on behalf whenever needed
- Lead and manage the team, work together as a unit to make sure the service is running smoothly
- Supervise staff operations, including conducting performance evaluations and ensuring compliance with training requirements
- Coordinate health and safety initiatives, including:
Implementing and monitoring safety protocols
Conducting risk assessments
Verifying completion of mandatory training programs
About you:
- Experience as Senior Support Worker (1 year min.),demonstrating effective leadership
- Minimum Level 3 in Children and Young Peoples Workforce qualification
- Must have excellent communication skills and problem solving mindset
