Summary
Location: We operate a flexible hybrid working model across the UK, with colleagues linked to one of our contractual locations in Newport, Titchfield (Fareham), Edinburgh or Manchester and working between office and remote throughout the week.

We're looking for experienced Data Scientists looking to put their expertise to use trying to make a positive difference to the UK!
Our Surveys division are in need of four new Data Scientists to help their work producing some of the largest social surveys produced in the UK, high profile research and major statistical outputs. You'll be working at the heart of the transformation of the statistical landscape, using your knowledge and skills to harness key insights and help to develop better social statistics, modernising the way these types of statistics are developed.
As an accomplished professional with Data Science expertise, you're comfortable writing programs & scripts (we mostly use Python & R - but you don't have to know them yet!), you're familiar with testing and deploying code, and can apply quantitative techniques to create models for analysis and prediction, along with practical knowledge of the tools and techniques associated with being a modern data scientist.
In addition, you're comfortable collaborating with other Scientists and Data Engineers to design & deliver projects effectively. You understand the processes required to produce repeatable, clean and accurate insights, and more broadly the benefits data science can yield.
