Location: Leicester
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday
Contract: Full time/Fixed Term

The Site Manager shall:

Undertake the management of all site staff
Drive forward planning of project
Manage and control all project resources
Be responsible for the overall management of the project
Ensure all Company Procedures are being complied with
Attend progress meetings and developing progress report for senior management and or meetings
Work with the design team to develop designs
Ensure all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Management Procedures are followed
Be responsible for achieving high standards of quality and workmanship on site
Record Site events and conditions
Deliver project within programme and budget
Liaise with the end users to make sure they are kept up to date with progress and requirements
Ensure all works are completed to high quality
Manage Works on site including staff & Subcontractor management
Communicate effectively with the project management team
Self-snag works prior to completion of works
Introduce improvements and innovations where appropriate
Report to senior management
Positively promote the company wherever and whenever possible
This job description is intended to give the post holder an appreciation of the role envisaged for the ­­­­­­­­­­­­­­Document Controller and the range of duties to be undertaken. It does not attempt to detail every activity. Specific tasks and objectives will be agreed with the post holder at regular intervals.

About You

Essential Criteria

Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
Knowledge in building regulations
Experience in high end bathroom refurbs.
Demonstratable knowledge in plumbing, Carpentry / general building, electrical – minor works, drainage, Cladding and flooring.
Demonstrable knowledge in setting up sites as per the CDM regulation 2015, and maintaining them once setup.
Able to build a good working relationship with on site FM’s and stakeholders.
Problem solving
Communication
Knowledge of working in a live care home environment
Must be 1st Aid at work trained
CSR/SAFEPASS/CSCS Card
Health & Safety Induction Including Management System
Demonstrate previous relevant management experience
Full UK drivers licence
DBS check essential.

Proven Leadership and people management skills
