We are now recruiting a Dispatchers with excellent customer service qualities to assist our already highly experienced and friendly team in Penzance.
The successful applicant will be computer literate and have a can do attitude. They will have excellent customer service skills and be required to interact with our customers providing a cheerful efficient service taking bookings over the phone and inputting them to the computer system. They must be able to work under pressure, as part of a team but also must be willing and able to work on their own. Experience with the “I cabbi” booking system would be ideal, but not essential as full training can be given. You must have a good knowledge of the local area.
Flexibility is key to this role as you must be able to work evenings, every weekend, as well as weekdays. Penzance Taxis provides a 24 hours 7 days a week 365 days a year service and as such our dispatch office must be continually staffed. There is therefore opportunity to work extra hours as holiday cover etc.
