Summary


We are seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our award-winning distribution network and be part of the team at our Avonmouth Distribution Depot, Avonmouth, Bristol. This is an active role requiring significant levels of manual handling in a busy environment

The role will include:

  • assisting with both goods in and out
  • being responsible for picking stock and preparing customer orders for dispatch
  • supporting with the loading and unloading of the transport fleet as required
  • assisting with stock taking at the depot
  • assisting with keeping the depot clean and tidy and ensuring health & safety is always a priority

About You:

  • Already hold a FLT truck licence or be willing to train.
  • Experience operating MHE equipment preferred but if not, must be willing to train.
  • A positive ‘can-do’ approach to all tasks.
  • An ability to solve problems and use your own initiative.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A good working knowledge of Health and Safety and best practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Additional Info:
This role is a permanent, full time role. You will work a 45 hour week with shift times beginning at 10.00am. This role will require you to work bank holidays with the exception of Christmas Day and New Year's Day.
