Summary
You will have a passion for supporting patients to be healthy by utilising your skills in health prevention, screening, and early management of long-term health conditions. You will strive to continuously deliver quality and safe services to a high standard. The post-holder will be expected to work collaboratively with the wider team to deliver excellent nursing care and to maximise Practice income such as QOF and enhanced service contracts. Practice Nurse Core Responsibilities will involve: Venepuncture Blood pressure ECG Height/Weight/BMI Health Promotion Childhood and Adult Immunisations Wound Care Contraception Cervical Screening Spirometry Long-term condition management such as Diabetes, COPD, Asthma Some experience of long-term condition management and cervical screening is essential.
