Summary
Deliver Procurement Strategy,research needs and complexities, plans and develop a viable business case for the pursuance of procurement projects in line with defined priorities for service improvement. To implement procurement strategy and lead on assigned areas of the strategic plan and ensure that performance management systems are focused and utilised effectively to create the business case, meet governance requirements and achieve goals. Ensures that local, regional and national procurement plans are integrated with category management. Including maximising contract compliance across the membership. To consistently meet procurement targets relating to quality, value and innovation. Ensure that key performance objectives are identified and strategies are in place and inform plans to enable procurement performance to be monitored across the health economy. To manage effectively Category Managers, Project Assistants and Data Analysts where required.
