Annual salary: £23,515.50 per annum pro rata. (£12.00 per hour)

We are looking to recruit a Play Worker for our friendly After School Club based at Holymead Primary School,
As a Play Worker, your key responsibilities would include: - • Provide safe high-quality play for children aged 4-11 years of age • Supervising children attending the afterschool club. Ensuring their safety and well-being. • Providing appropriate crafts, activities and games for the children to enjoy. • Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks for the children • Encourage good behaviour. • Supporting colleagues with the overall running of the club in line with the club polices and procedure. • Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the safety and well-being of the children that attend • Maintain confidentiality in and outside of the workplace, and follow the school's Safeguarding Policy • Be pro-active in matters relating to health and safety and report accidents as required • Support the aims and ethos of the School setting a good example in terms of behaviour, punctuality and attendance Previous experience of working with children or an NVQ in Childcare would be desirable but not essential. Applicants must be 17 or over.
