Personal Assistant for Non-Binary Client with ASD CS/232386
Are you compassionate, understanding, and ready to make a meaningful difference? We are seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant to provide 8 hours of weekly assistance to a vibrant 50-year-old individual who presents as male but identifies as non-binary. Our client has recently been diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and is looking for support to achieve financial, social, and personal independence.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and maintaining a balanced diet tailored to the client’s specific needs.
- Support the client in developing and adhering to an exercise regimen suitable for their diagnosis.
- Provide organizational and practical support to enhance financial, social, and personal independence.
- Assist with daily tasks and routines to help the client manage their care plan effectively.
Qualifications
- Understanding and compassionate approach towards working with individuals diagnosed with ASD.
- Experience in nutrition planning and physical exercise routines is highly desirable.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to foster a supportive and positive environment.
- Open to applicants of all genders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Applicants with life experience and an understanding of what this means are especially encouraged to apply, as our client appreciates the value of lived experience and maturity.
- Specific skills that could benefit the client, such as experience in financial planning, social skills training, or personal development coaching, should be highlighted in your application.
