Summary

A specialist hospital in Hull is now looking for a kind and compassionate Registered Nurse (RMN or RNLD) with mental health or neurological experience to join the team on a part-time basis.

This hospital offers a dynamic service for people experiencing enduring and progressive mental health conditions, a neurological condition, or have related needs that would benefit from inpatient therapeutic support. The team has been awarded a “Good” rating by CQC and is led by one of UK’s foremost health and social care groups, highly praised for the quality of its services – clinical and residential – for people who require some extra support to live well.

As part of a strong multidisciplinary team, you’ll work together to empower each patient and support an excellent quality of life as they journey through their bespoke treatment pathways and person-centred therapy programmes. Your thoughtful nursing care will be key to enabling patients to make lasting improvements in their mental health, achieve greater independence, and smoothly transition to a less formal setting.

Accredited as a “2 Star Outstanding” employer by Best CompaniesTM, the group can offer you one of the sector’s best packages for professional development (including to earn new qualifications and advance) as well as rewards and lifestyle support in return – plus a £2,000 sign-on bonus* as warm welcome to the team.

Reflecting the scope of care offered, both Registered Nurses for mental health (RMN) and Registered Nurses for learning disabilities (RNLD) will be considered and are welcome to apply.

This is a permanent, part-time position (24h) for an RMN or RNLD with a mixed shift pattern.

Person specification:

• (Essential) NMC registration as a Registered Nurse (mental health or learning disabilities)
• (Essential) Previous professional experience within a clinical (inpatient) setting.
