Summary


We are looking for a band 7 Audiologist to join our experienced team of healthcare scientists. Our service is based in Windsor,andwealsocover several sites across east Berkshire and staffregularly workat different sites during the week.We see a range of complex adult and paediatric patients for audiological assessment and rehabilitation, as well as providing audiology support to our ENT colleagues.

• We are looking for an enthusiastic clinical scientist to join our team.

• You will carry out all aspects of diagnostic and rehabilitative adult andpaediatricaudiology, while also becoming involved in the most advanced techniques and procedures.

• The job involves the care of children and adults with hearing loss and balance difficulties, formulating individualised care plans and rehabilitation.

• You will be line managing other members of the teamand involved in the training ofSTP trainees and other audiology students within the department.

• You will communicate calmly,compassionatelyand effectively reassuring service users so they feel, valued,heardand understood. A born organiser with a flexible approach, you will have your own caseload of patients to manage.

The 3 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role: 

1. MSc in Audiology orClinicalScienceand registered with HCPC as a Clinical Scientist (or about to be, we will consider new STP graduates)
2. Demonstrable experience of working with complex patients
3. Excellent communication skills 
4. IT literate and ideally experience of using Auditbaseand DATIX
