Summary
JOB TITLE: Charity Worker
JOB OVERVIEW:
Uganda Croydon Catholic Community (UCCC) based in Croydon Surrey United Kingdom is looking for a Charity Workers. Charity workers will have a desire to work with all age groups, helping them to integrate with the Church. The church serves a multi-ethnic community especially people from Uganda.
The church will provide maintenance and the cost of leaving. Working 30 hours per week and the role will require weekend working.
Length of contract: Initially for 1 year.
PRIMARY ROLE:
Working alongside the lead minister in communicating the priorities of Youths and families in the church in accordance with the vision of UCCC.
DUTIES INCLUDES:
• Helping in Ushering during the church services and all church meetings.
• Helping in preparing the church premises during the church worship services and all other church meetings.
• Helping in clearing the church premises after the church worship services and all other church meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The Candidate should have excellent communication and listening skills, initiative, enthusiasm and motivation, good organisational and planning skills, good negotiating skills, commitment to equal opportunities.
Strong knowledge and ability to speak, read and write in English is required and knowledge of Uganda language and any of Ugandans Cultures is essential as the community we cater for ls mostly from Uganda.
