Summary


To undertake Audits of National Cleaning Standards (NCA) and Patient Led Assessment of Care Environment (PLACE) Standards for community, Inpatient and outpatient premises within all divisions of the Trust.

To input and report on data gathered from completed audits. Produce action plans and revisit to ensure compliance.

To develop and maintain strong relationships with all staff, clients and their representatives across all inpatient and outpatient premises.
• Proactively monitor performance and cleanliness standards in all relevant areas across inpatient and outpatient premises, communicating as appropriate with local clients, staff, supervisors and management.
• Plan, co-ordinate and undertake a programme of monitoring and compliance audits within inpatient and outpatient premises.
• Contribute to Performance Management Meetings with Contract Providers and Facilities Managers by producing monthly audit outcome and compliance reports.
• To provide advice and training to staff and managers regarding NCA and PLACE Standards and the audit process.
• To input data onto relevant systems accurately and compile data for ad hoc information requests from Facilities Managers.
• Respond appropriately to any identified service issues or problems initiating rectification procedures by reporting jobs to the Facilities Helpdesk.
• To establish effective working relation with the following:

Internal: Clinical managers, Matrons, Clinical Team Leader, Management and Facilities and Estates Staff across the Trust.

External: NHS Organisations, Department of Health, Statutory Authorities, PFI providersand other external partners and agencies.
