The Role – Security Officer
Pinnacle Group is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to join our Security Team at our client’s retail shopping centre in Arndale Shopping Centre
This is a Part Time Permanent Role, the suitable person would be available to work 17 hours per week. Moday 8AM - 7PM & Sunday 10:30AM - 5PM
Duties/Key Responsibilities
To provide professional security services to our client, maintaining the security and safety of their premises and people by ways of monitoring, patrolling and surveying the building and their assets, the role consists of being a visible security officer in the public eye of the shopping centre.
• Ensuring the Safety of Employees and Customers
• Deter shoplifters
• Provide Customer Service
• Handle Crisis and Emergency Situations with Confidence
• Ensure all Saftey and Emergency Procedures are followed
• Report incidents in the D.O.B
• Provide First Aid if necessary
• Assist colleagues
• Report to your management
Security also need to assist with cleaning in the mall by ensuring the loading bays and the floor area of the recycling is clean before the cleaners come onto shift, and sweeping and mopping and emptying bins.
Skills Required
• Valid SIA Front Line SG/DS Licence
• First Aid cert
• You will need to evidence your honesty and reliability and always maintain a sense of pride in your professionalism in delivering excellent customer service.
• Be able to access, control and manage a large crowd of people efficiently and quickly.
• Full 5-year UK checkable work history
• Experience in a similar retail security role is required
