Summary


We are seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced construction professional. This is a broad ranging role which will require well developed communications skills. You will have responsibility for ensuring that the Trust meets the necessary legislative requirements for building and construction work, as well as providing advice, support and guidance at management level to ensure compliance across the organisation.

As Building Manager you will be required to address complex building matters and have specific responsibility for the management of a large multidisciplinary operational team.

The Building Manager will have a key role in ensuring that all buildings occupied by the Trust are maintained to a high standard providing a safe environment for all service users and staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated Building Manager to join the Estates team within the Estates & Facilities Directorate at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
As part of the Estates team, the Building Manager is required to address complex building matters that may involve various options for consideration and discussion with a range of stakeholders. The Building Manager is also responsible for the operational management, managing and leading a multi-disciplinary team, providing an effective and efficient maintenance service., planning and development of Estates function across the Trust, ensuring planned preventative maintenance are delivered on time and for the benefit of patients, visitors and staff.
The post will be covering all of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust premises, with the post base split between Northwick Park & St Mark’s Hospital and Ealing Hospital. The post will be required to work and travel across all Trust premises.
Reporting to the Deputy Head of Operational Estates, the successful applicant will have extensive knowledge of and experience in all Estates matters, be highly motivated and organised with the ability to deliver advice.

Successful applicant will be part of the Trusts out of hours on call rota and previous AP duties are essential.
