The Opportunity:
Architecture and Landscape Architecture is looking for motivated, effective and skilled people to join our teaching team. Successful candidates will assist with tutoring, feedback and assessment on one or more of the courses listed in the 2024-25 session. These courses sit within the undergraduate and postgraduate professional programmes in Architecture.
Your skills and attributes for success:
Practice-based experience in one or more of the following:
Architecture | Landscape Architecture | Structural Engineering + Architecture Conservation Architecture Environmental Sustainability | Environmental Philosophy | Ecology | Geography | Spatial Practice | Climate Adaptation | Passive House Design | Art | Design.
An enthusiastic, positive and creative approach to teaching
Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain concepts in a clear and understandable manner, applying professional practice experience from real life situations to enhance student understanding.
Ability to work within a team with a collegial attitude, respect and sensitivity toward students and other staff members
