Summary
HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor who has a solid generalist background with excellent organisational, administrative, communication and time management skills is required to join a busy Human Resources Team for a well-established company based in Falfield, Gloucestershire.

We have a fantastic new job opportunity in a busy Human Resources Team for an HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor who has a solid generalist background with excellent organisational, administrative, communication and time management skills.
Working as an HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor you will support the HR Manager in delivering a comprehensive HR service to the business.
This is a varied role that requires an HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor who can manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.

DUTIES
Your duties as an HR Officer / Human Resources Advisor include:
• Assist in the recruitment and selection process, including drafting job descriptions, posting adverts, screening candidates, and coordinating interviews
• Administer HR-related documentation, such as contracts of employment, offer letters, and new starter packs
• Provide first-line advice to employees and managers on HR policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR databases
• Assist with the management of employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
• Support the implementation of HR initiatives and projects, such as performance management systems and employee engagement programmes
• Coordinate and deliver HR induction sessions for new employees
• Monitor and report on key HR metrics, such as absence and turnover rates
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience in a generalist HR role
• Strong knowledge HR best practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships at all levels
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Proficient in using HR software and Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
• Proactive and self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
