Here at Purovets we have a wonderful opportunity for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent RCVS accredited, purpose-built hospital situated in the large city of Milton Keynes. This thriving, modern destination is packed full of things to do for all the family and has been named as the 4th best place for under 30's to live in the UK. It also has excellent rail links to London and the south coast.

Our client has been established in the area since 1970 and is one of the oldest veterinary practices in the area. They are looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team either on a full-time or part-time basis. You will be joining a large team of 18 Vets and 21 RVNs split between an RCVS-accredited modern, purpose-built hospital and 4 practices across the Milton Keynes area. The veterinary team includes certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and vets with special interest in Orthopaedics, Dentistry, Imaging and Cardiology. As a team, they are always happy to collaborate with one another on complicated cases and support a colleague should they want to progress.

They are looking for a full or part-time Veterinary Surgeon to join the friendly, experienced, supportive and dedicated team. Their full-time vets work a 4 day week with the same day off each week, as well as 1 in 3 Saturday mornings. There are no out of hours, Sundays or Bank Holidays. The hospital and branch practices are well-equipped with modern technology including state-of-the-art ultrasound facilities, digital x-ray, a Tonopen, a Slit Lamp, an in-house laboratory, ECG, dental x-ray system and much more.

They are looking for a great all-rounder to join the team; experience is preferred, but excellent communication and interpersonal skills are most important as they have the ability to mentor a new graduate. They can offer a great vet with all-round experience a fantastic work-life balance with the ability to work-up challenging cases.

Role:

- Salary up to £60,000 DOE
- 4 day week, same day off each week
- 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
