This opening assignment is for 8-9 months

Hybrid working, minimum of 1 day per week working in the office

A PT Performance Analyst is required to work closely with the Integrated Care Partnership to produce data on hospital discharge for monthly and quarterly statutory returns. To produce detailed data analysis on various Adult Social Care related KPIs and work with Power Query to produce automated solutions. SQL experience is preferred but not necessary. Mosaic or any other ASC system experience is required. Flexibility with days and times worked but minimum of 1 day per week working in the office. Candidates should be flexible to attend the office more often as per business requirements.

Key responsibilities:

Support the delivery of performance management for a service area within Community Wellbeing.
Lead developments around data quality and improvement, working closely with service areas to support data improvement.
Lead on a range of performance reporting that support projects and programmes across the directorate as required.
Actively develop and improve performance system, using knowledge and experience to support managers to take ownership of data and data quality.
Undertake health and equity impact assessment, and other forms of research using modelling and forecasting techniques.
Support delivery of all national (statutory) corporate and partnership performance submissions in an accurate and timely manner.
Lead on delivery of performance reports as required, including supporting operational managers to develop and own performance management information.
Support systems and structures that assess, analyse and benchmark practice across the sector to improve outcomes.

Qualifications:

Educated to at least degree level or equivalent in a relevant discipline, social sciences, research & statistics, health economics etc.
Evidence of significant relevant continuing professional development.



Experience:

SQL experience is preferred but not necessary.
Mosaic or any other ASC system experience required.
Employment or studying a role working collaboratively across organisational boundaries developing practical, innovative and creative approaches to developing and sharing research and performance management information coordinating and managing provision of research information and/or statutory and local performance indicators internally and externally ensuring the accuracy of data.
Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.



Knowledge:

Knowledge and understanding of the major factors, influences and challenges facing local government and Health.
Knowledge of Relational Databases, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.



Skills & Abilities:

Intellectual ability to, analyse and critically appraise complex information (numerical, research, findings from consultation) draw conclusions and present findings in a compelling way.
Communication and influencing skills to inform, consult and negotiate with a range of audiences in a straightforward, articulate, sensitive and persuasive manner, both orally and in writing.
Interpersonal ability to engage with service areas.
Organisational skills to plan and prioritise their own time.
Identify and encourage innovative solutions, support a ‘can do’ culture and achieve results.
Strong IT skills including Microsoft packages or equivalent (e.g. G Suite).
