Summary


Are you an aspiring Director of Midwifery? Are you a motivated and dynamic experienced senior midwife, keen to develop and ready for your next exciting opportunity? We have a fantastic opportunity to join our midwifery leadership team as the Deputy Director of Midwifery.

There has never been a more exciting time to join the Midwifery Leadership Team here at Royal Cornwall Hospitals Trust. We are seeking someone really special to join our fast paced, progressive team which was rated ‘Good’ overall by the CQC during their last inspection.

The post holder will assist the Director of Midwifery, Clinical Director, Maternity Clinical Lead, and the Maternity General Manager to ensure that divisional and corporate objectives in relation to the workforce, service delivery, clinical quality, safety, and financial control, are carried out.Deputise for the Director of Midwifery where appropriate.

Ensure women and their families are at the centre of care, implementing necessary service improvements to ensure maternity care provision is responsive to womens needs and the care is of the highest standards.
