Salary: £ 30,000 - £35,000

Hours per week: 40

To be considered for the role of Nursery Manager you will have:
  • Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification
  • Good knowledge of the EYFS
  • Previous leadership experience (Senior Room Leader, Deputy Manager)
  • Ability to motivate, inspire and lead a small team
  • Friendly, approachable, and positive attitude

The role of a Nursery Manager within the Nursery involves:
  • Managing budgets, marketing, occupancy levels and KPI's.
  • Preparing for Ofsted inspections.
  • Assisting in the recruitment of nursery staff, manage inductions, supervisions, and appraisals.
  • Leading the team and support in EYFS planning and looking at reflective practice.
  • Managing staff rota's and staff meetings.
  • Ensuring children's observations, assessment and development records are maintained.
  • Having lead responsibility of Safeguarding and Health & Safety, ensuring all staff follow policy and procedures.
  • Working in partnership with parents forming caring and trusting relationships.
  • Liaising with the Local Authorities and other professionals associated with the nursery
