Summary

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people?

Join our team as a Community Support Worker, where you will play a vital role in ensuring the care and safety of young service users aged 8-18!
- Direct Support: Work in a minimum 2:1 ratio, ensuring the safety and well-being of young service users.
- Detailed Documentation: Maintain thorough records of the young person's emotions, interactions, conversations, food intake, and daily routines.
- Engagement in Activities: Participate in activities with the young person and assist in managing their finances, keeping accurate records of transactions.
- Safeguarding: Identify and report any safeguarding issues to support the young person's development.
- Behaviour Management: Handle challenging behaviors, mental health issues, and disabilities with professionalism.
- Collaborative Relationships: Maintain professional relationships with the local authority, us, and the young person's family to ensure a cohesive support network.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to document interactions and routines meticulously.
- Experience: Previous experience with mental health issues and disabilities is advantageous.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Problem Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and emotional resilience.
- Professionalism: High levels of professionalism and a non-judgemental attitude.
- Driving: A driver's license is preferred due to varied locations.
- Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or a related field is preferred.
- DBS Certificate: We can assist you in obtaining this if needed.
- Competitive Salary: £15+ per hour.
- Training: Online training and a TMVA Training Course worth £500 to enhance your skills.
- Travel Expenses: Paid at 45p per mile.
