Summary
We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-motivated and imaginative individual to join our busy Nutrition and Dietetic Service. Based in Lerwick, with occasional travel to other bases, this is an excellent opportunity to work in service with a strong focus on patient-centred care and continuous improvement.
You will support the dietitians in the planning and delivery of evidence-based nutrition and dietetic service provision, including the general administration of the department, collating of clinical and non-clinical information relating to patients and delivery of training to healthcare and non-healthcare professionals. We are looking for candidates with good general organisational and administrative skills and a knowledge and understanding of healthy eating principles. All training required will be provided as part of the post.
This contract is for a fixed-term for 12 months to allow for ongoing workforce planning and review of establishment. If you wish to apply for this post as a secondment opportunity, you will need to discuss with your line manager before submitting an application.
