Maintenance Technician - About the role:

As the onsite Maintenance Technician you will be responsible for preforming planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on the plant, equipment, buildings and facilities.

We are looking to bring someone on board who will aim to maintain and improve all aspects of the operational site.

As our Maintenance Technician, you will:

- Search for/ fault find within the shop environment while repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems as required.

- Carry out PPM checks on machines and equipment in line with the CMMS schedule.

- Maintain the high standard of the sites appearance/ environment while carrying out general maintenance over all aspects of the facilities.

- Always adhere to best practices by highlighting opportunities for improvement in regards to the site/ equipment reliability.

- Ensure all work is carried out in a safe and tidy manner in line with the company's policies.

- Preform any other requested duties within the nature of the role as and when required.

- The ability to demonstrate and understand the application of safe working practices.

- A positive and proactive attitude while being able to perform under pressure.

- Have an excellent written and spoken vocabulary.

- The commitment to work towards set deadlines as well as the determination to work towards a satisfactory outcome.

- High levels of attention to detail in all aspects of the role.

- A desire to progress and succeed while working both independently and as part of a team.

It would be beneficial if you had:

- Training and experience in working with basic electrical skills.

- Knowledge of modern maintenance philosophy's (TPM, PPM, RCM).

- Practical ability to identify and fault find from electrical/ mechanical drawings or PLC systems.

- Academic qualifications such as BTEC National, BTEC Higher or Equivalent.
