Summary

Would you like to make a real difference and be part of vaccination history here at NBT?

If so, we have a full-time, Band 3 Vaccination Administrator role available within the Staff Vaccination team. This role will have several key functions that are pivotal to the smooth running of our vaccination team. One element will be to support the vaccination team in the initiation and roll-out of a new ground-breaking vaccine (RSV) to antenatal patients. Other elements will include supporting the existing vaccination team with administration of vaccination records for staff and patients.

We are looking for a dedicated, competent individual who would like to join the team and focus their skills on providing an efficient, safe and friendly clinic to both patients and staff.

As this is a new vaccine in the maternity world, many people are not aware of the virus or the vaccine and so there will be opportunity to support the team in promoting the initiative, and encouraging engagement with all groups of people to improve uptake and reduce health inequalities.

The clinics will be very busy, and so will require individuals who work well under pressure, able to trouble-shoot, are compassionate, plus methodical and organised. The clinics will be based over several NBT sites, so an ability to travel to different bases is a specific requirement for the role.

We would be keen to broaden the role and encourage interested staff to learn how to vaccinate too making the role even more rewarding.

This role provides both an effective administration and customer service element and trained vaccinator support to the Staff Vaccination Programme.

This will include the implementation of a new vaccine within the Antenatal unit and supporting the team and it’s administration requirements.

The role involves a large amount of date entry / validation and working with several data information programmes.

There will be opportunities to provide both vaccinator and administration support as required by the service.

The clinics will be based over several NBT sites, so an ability to travel to different bases is a specific requirement for the role.
