Summary

An excellent opportunity has arisen at an Islamic Primary School in Leicester.

We are seeking a new KS1 Primary Teacher to join our dedicated teaching staff on a permanent and full-time basis.
The school's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) is looking for a confident and experienced individual to work in our Year 1 class.

As the new KS1 Primary Teacher, your responsibilities will include
teaching core subjects such as Mathematics, English, and Science, as well as preparing and delivering lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.

To lead in the day to day running of Year 1 Class. To ensure continual improvement and high quality, engaging and fulfilling education within the classroom and further development in standards of teaching, learning and achievement in accordance with statutory requirements and the Every Child Matters agenda.

You will also coordinate activities and foster a positive learning environment, while providing encouragement, motivation, and inspiration to young minds.

Job Description - KS1 Primary Teacher:

• Class: Year 1
• Teaching the Primary Curriculum
• Creating stimulating displays to foster a positive learning environment

Essential requirements

• QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
• Excellent knowledge of the Primary curriculum
• High expectations of pupil behaviour
• The ability to plan and deliver lessons across different year groups.
• To be able to work in partnership with class TA and other staff members.
• To create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

Salary: Negotiable depending on qualification and experience.

Start Date: As soon as an enhanced DBS is received, and Mandatory online modules have been completed by the candidate.

This Class Teacher role is due to start in September at the start of the next academic year.
