Summary
Class 2 Drivers
£15.91 – 19.66/ hour
Rapier Employment Ltd is currently hiring a skilled HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Swan Valley, Northampton.
Temp to Perm opportunity available.
On average of 10 hours per shift.
Various shifts starting between 4 AM -8 AM
SUNDAY – THURSDAY/ TUESDAY – SATURDAY
Multi drop
This role pays as follows:
BASIC £15.91
OVERTIME (after 42.5hrs) £17.60
WEEKENDS £19.66
The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 2 license, relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles, and a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Drive an HGV Class 2 vehicle to transport goods to and from different locations
- Cage deliveries to stores and multi drop
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including delivering goods in a courteous and professional manner.
- Follow to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
- Must hold an in-date Class 2 licence
- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a Class 2 Driver
- Have an in-date Tacho and CPC Card
- No more than six penalty points on licence and no major endorsement codes
