Location: Croydon CR0 4GG
Salary: £32 - £35K per annum + Benefits
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m. Friday 8.00 a.m. to 1.00 p.m.

Unitrunk a leading manufacturer of steel cable management systems currently require an enthusiastic and motivated Internal Sales Rep to join their team in Croydon.

Internal Sales Executive - The Role:

The Internal Sales Executive role will be to service the needs of existing customers and actively seek out new sales opportunities.

Main duties and responsibilities:

- Support the Commercial Lead in delivering the business sales and margin income requirements

- Actively support the sales team as required

- Prepare and deliver sales quotations and if required facilitate the order placement process

- To fulfil the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery of goods. Be fully flexible to meet the remit of the depot and to increase customer satisfaction and increase sales

- Maintain and grow current client relationships by building client rapport and intimacy

- Conduct market research to identify new selling opportunities and evaluate potential customer needs

- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking and social media

- As appropriate set up face to face or online meetings with potential clients and listen to their wishes and concerns whilst offering them solutions and a compelling reason to trade with Unitrunk

- Prepare and deliver appropriate presentations on products and services

- Undertake frequent reviews with your direct business colleagues to ensure a transparent and cohesive message is delivered to our customers

- Participate on behalf of the company in exhibitions or conferences

- Negotiate/close deals and handle complaints or objections as required

- Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share with internal teams

Internal Sales Executive - The Candidate:

The successful candidate will be:

- Enthusiastic and target driven self-starter

- A passion for sales and building sustainable customer relationships

- Track record of building positive customer relationships

- Effective communication skills (written & verbal)

- Negotiation skills

- Hands on proficiency with a CRM tool

- Process and product knowledge

- Numeracy & Analytical skills

- Enquiry handling (by phone and face-to-face)

- IT/Systems knowledge MS Office, ERP systems

- Business acumen (Commercial & Operational handling)

- Flexible & resilient

- Positive manner with ability to build customer intimacy
