Team Leader (Residential Care)

Hourly Rate: £14 - 15.50

Hours per week: 42

12 hour shifts, must be flexible to do day and night shifts

Requirements for the Team Leader (Residential Care) role:
  • Candidates must be fully flexible and able to work both days and nights.
  • Experience with learning disabilities, autism and challenging behaviour.
  • NVQ'S and restraint training are ideal, however not compulsory
  • 6 months experience in a senior role desirable.
  • Moving and handling and personal care experience
  • Excellent teamwork skills, flexibility, and professionalism
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable .


About the service:

Our client provides specialist nursing care to adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement personalised and person-centred care plans.
  • Continuously assess, implement, and evaluate service user's care.
  • Adopt safe working practices in accordance with the service's policies.
  • Meet the minimum CQC standards and maintain professional CQC relationship.
  • Ensure personal development (continuous) and mandatory training is kept up to date.
  • Set and maintain the highest standard of care in the service
  • Support and Mentor your team of care staff and guide them to provide the best positive outcomes for our residents.
