Requirements for the Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) role:
  • You must have a Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
  • Active PIN or awaiting your NMC PIN
  • Clear DBS.


About the Nursing Home:

This Nursing Home is situated in a wonderful location and un-interrupted views of the River Tay from many of the bedrooms and all dining rooms. A wonderful setting to spend some respite care time by the water.

It caters to older adults who require residential, nursing and end of life care, it also has a unit that is registered for adults under 65 years. This unit has a small fenced garden suitable for developing by residents including a vegetable plot.

The role of a Staff Nurse (RGN/RMN) within the Nursing Home involves:
  • Ensuring the care, welfare and safety of all residents is maintained at the highest possible standard.
  • Completing physical/psychological assessments of new residents on admission.
  • Creating individualised care plans for residents.
  • Updating care plans daily.
  • Safely administering and recording of medication.
  • Liaising effectively with external suppliers and health care providers.
  • Monitoring and developing performance of care staff.
  • Ensuring effective rotas are in place.
  • Use a person-centred approach to ensure every individual's needs are understood and met with the greatest privacy, dignity, and respect.
