DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibility for attending out patients at the Christie and peripheral sites and support of the ORTC outpatient chemotherapy unit. In the out-patient clinics they will be expected to review and manage patients on chemotherapy, review patients and new patients. All of this will be done under the clinical supervision of the team consultant. They will be expected to teach junior medical staff, medical students and nurses on occasion. They will be expected to take part in audit and research. Continuing Professional Development The Trust supports the requirements for continuing professional development (CPD) as laid down by the GMC and surgical colleges and is committed to providing time and financial support for these activities.
