Summary
You will have responsibility for clinical caseloads at Rampton and Wathwood Hospitals, and will work as an integral multidisciplinary team member. You will be encouraged to use your skills to influence and improve patient care via optimal medicines use. Your involvement in the clinical pharmacy services will allow you an exclusive opportunity to develop understanding and expertise in secure mental health settings. Support to develop any extra skills you may require in our specialised areas will be provided. We actively encourage our staff to engage with relevant educational opportunities, including formal postgraduate qualifications, and we have strong links with the College of Mental Health Pharmacy. Some time will be spent at other trust sites (mainly in Nottingham) for meetings, to work in the dispensary and Medicines Information services, and to maintain competency for on-call; travel expenses will be reimbursed. A full UK driving license and vehicle for business use is required for this post; however reasonable adjustments will be made for disabled individuals in line with the Equality Act 2010.
