- and right now we are looking to recruit for a full time Active Community Co-ordinator to join our team. 
In this role, you work within the local community to ensure the Oxford community leisure trusts are integral to the healthy lifestyle offering across the area. To establish thriving relationships with community partners and stakeholders and identify opportunities for growth and development of the Leisure trust facilities within key local areas.

We share your passion for leisure, and we will offer a safe, fun, and professional working environment with excellent development opportunities.  You will also receive free gym membership for you and a family member across our fantastic leisure centres! 
  
Serco manages these facilities on a day-to-day basis on behalf of the Trust. 


About you

The successful candidate will be a passionate and enthusiastic individual who like the members of staff at Oxford pride and strive to give the best service possible for those who visit the centre and go the extra mile for customers when needed.

We are looking to hear from candidates that have the following experience:


- Experience of working within a community development role and working alongside health and social care partners.
- Local area knowledge and great at building thriving relationships.
- Understanding of some of the challenges that exist within our local communities and the barriers some will be experiencing to physical activity.
- Experience of working within funded programmes.
- Experience of writing reports or evaluating different initiatives.
- Open to getting feedback and continual improvement of programmes.
- Knowledge of the operational leisure environment and understanding of why we need to become more inclusive.
- Experience of developing and promoting activities.
