Summary

Business Support provides specialist administration support to services across the Council.

The Business Support Assistant will provide a range of administrative support to our key frontline services within the Corporate Business Support Function, including post sorting and scanning administration, reception, and financial administration.

You will also be expected to input and maintain up to date accurate information on computerised records and systems to produce reports and documents in line with corporate standards.

The successful applicant will be required to work from a fixed council location, based in Halifax Town Centre.

The successful applicant will have knowledge of Microsoft applications to support the services offered. Excellent communication and customer care skills are also essential.
