The role:

We are looking to appoint a dedicated Lead Science Technician to join our successful Science Department. This role will provide support to colleagues within the Science Department with preparing practical lessons, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the safe storage and disposal of chemicals and materials.

The person:

The successful candidate will have good subject knowledge and a passion for science. You will have a strong understanding of the health and safety requirements, excellent IT and communication skills and have the ability to manage your time effectively. The ideal candidate for this role will have experience working within a school or with young people, they will have the confidence to build relationships with students and colleagues and will be able to relate well to both children and adults.
