Blenheim Primary School are looking for a higher level teaching assistant (HLTA) to work in our Outstanding school, where we are “Aiming high in the heart of the city”. We want all pupils to achieve their maximum potential by having high expectations and excellent standards. A higher level teaching assistant is required for our outstanding school. As a HLTA you will be based in one Key Stage but may work across the whole school from Nursery to Year 6. The role involves preparing and delivering learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes. It also involves monitoring, assessing, recording and reporting on pupil development, progress and attainment.

We are looking for a kind and assertive person who has the ability to work as an effective team member.

The successful candidate will:

Love working with children

Understand how children learn

Have excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills

Be flexible and have the ability to use their initiative

Have high expectations of achievement and behaviours
