Summary
Title: LGV Cat C+E (Class 1) Driver / HGV Driver Our client, a reputable company based in Rhymney, is currently seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Trampers with walking floor experience to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for skilled drivers looking for stable, ongoing work with competitive pay. Key Responsibilities: Driving: Safely operate HGV Class 1 vehicles, including those with walking floors. Tramping: Perform overnight trips as required, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods. Compliance: Adhere to all road safety regulations and company policies. Maintenance: Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections, reporting any issues to ensure vehicle safety. Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and collections. Requirements: Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence Proven experience with walking floor trailers Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Good knowledge of UK road networks Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently and handle long-distance driving Benefits: Competitive Pay: £15.00 per hour Night Out Allowance: £25 per night Saturday Pay Rate: £22.50 per hour Stable Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00 am Ongoing Position: Long-term opportunity with a respected company If you are a reliable and experienced HGV Class 1 driver with walking floor experience, we would love to hear from you!
