Summary
We require experienced Social Workers to join our Locality teams who are making a daily difference to the lives of the people we serve. If you are passionate about making a positive and lasting difference for the people of Hull, we would like to hear from you!
You will join an integrated multi-disciplinary team to promote independence and control to enable people to live the lives they choose to lead, whatever their age or stage of life. You will provide high quality social work practice, ensuring individuals have a solution focussed plan towards achieving their goals and maintaining their wellbeing. You will work creatively with individuals, local communities and our partners, empowering them to deliver the best possible outcomes for people and to create a positive Adult Social Care culture.
As a valued member of the team, you will have access to peer support, 1:1 time, supervision and ongoing training & development opportunities and to work with our partners across Social Care, Health, Housing and Voluntary Services.
As an experienced worker, you will provide and support expert and effective social work practice in complex situations, assessing and managing high levels of risk and providing expert opinion in relation to decisions surrounding complex cases. You will undertake a professional leadership role taking responsibility for the learning and development of others, through leadership and management, supervision, mentoring, assessing and teaching.
There are various hours available both full time and part time which can be discussed during the interview process and we will consider requests for flexible working - see the attached document.
