Summary
KPI Recruiting are on the look out for a Dairy Operative for our client based in Nantwich.
As a Dairy Operative you working days and hours are:
• Monday- Sunday working on a 6 day rota
• 06:00- 16:00
The rate of pay as a Dairy Operative is:
• £11.44p/h
The duties as a Dairy Operative include:
Basic duties include the below, you will also be required to move around to the sub departments within the dairy. I.E the plough, stacker, scales operative.
• To unload and store the daily loads of raw milk
• Testing the raw milk for antibiotic, temp, fats and proteins by following the testing protocols.
• Recording information of the milk intake to ensure complete traceability.
• Working closely with the pasteuriser operator.
• Ensuring stock rotation of milk is maintained.
• Informing manager of any issues involved with deliveries.
• Ensuring the Silo is washed, disconnected and fit for use.
• Checking seals are intact and fit for purpose.
• Ensuring the pipework is correctly set up and that all agitators are working.
• Ensuring you are testing all loads of milk for antibiotic and recording the result prior to unloading into a silo.
• Accurately record details of every load on the daily milk intake sheet / SI.
• Report any Non-Conformances to the production / technical manager.
• Work closely with tank drivers to CIP all tankers and the silo line.
• Stock sheet reporting.
• Accurate documents and handover instructions for the night shift milk deliveries.
• Keep a tidy work area and report any spillages to the dairy supervisor / manager.
