Summary

We have a great opportunity to join the Growth and Development team as a Project Co-ordinator where you will be responsible for the option appraisals for Platform’s garage sites.

You will be responsible for formulating a regeneration programme to create a sustainable portfolio of assets and researching to ensure sites are appraised correctly looking at options such as redevelopment, refurbishment, disposal or other commercial or community uses.

This is a home-based role; however you will be required to travel to sites across all the different Platform Housing patches. You will however have the autonomy to manage your own diary to minimise travel in an effective way. Due to the travel required, a driving license and use of your own vehicle is a must for this role.

This role is on a 12-month fixed term contract.

What to expect as our new Project Co-ordinator?

Undertake desktop and physical garage site appraisals across Platforms operating region.

Conduct due diligence on each site to identify any risks that may restrict a sites future use, such as ownership, established rights, neighbourhood concerns, access, and location of services.

Complete an option appraisal, including financial appraisals when applicable, for each garage site accurately recording information on the appropriate systems.

Formulate a garage site regeneration programme from the completed option appraisals, making recommendations over the short, medium, and long term and present the findings to a range of audiences.

Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to raise awareness of the option appraisal work and to understand their requirements.

Consult with external stakeholders, such as Local Authorities and where appropriate our customers, to ensure they are informed of the work being undertaken.



What are we looking for?

Experience of working in the development or asset sector, or a relevant technical qualification (HND/HNC) or degree.

Proven experience in project management cycles.

The ability to work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders.

Knowledge of current legislation, policies, issues at a local and national level in relation to housing development, regeneration, and assets.

A tenacious approach with the ability to use your own initiative.

First class organisational skills, with the ability to work using your own initiative.

Due to the requirement to travel to site, a driving license and use of your own vehicle is essential.
