We are increasing our well-established services provided to local people and as a result we have been expanding our team of qualified therapists and support staff.

We are an integrated, hard-working but highly rewarding multi-disciplinary team, who aim to make a real difference to people’s lives. We are looking for an experienced, flexible and enthusiastic Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists who would relish the opportunity to join our well established inter-disciplinary team.  You will have a desire to develop your skills in promoting health, well-being and independence across our community rehabilitation services.

You will need to be a car driveras independent means of travel is essential for this role.



In the community Rehabilitation Team you will work alongside other experienced Occupational Therapists and Physiotherapists, Rehabilitation Assistants, Nurses, Assistant Practitioners, Social Workers, Dietitians, Speech and Language Therapists and Reablement Support staff to deliver rehabilitation in a variety of settings including:
• Home Based Rehabilitation
• Falls Prevention Service
• Reablement and Home-First Service
• Urgent Community Response Service
• Long Covid Service
• Rehabilitation within Care Homes (Discharge to Assess)
• Motor Disorders and Vestibular Services

We can offer a robust induction programme, career development and regular clinical supervision to support your professional development.

You will be integral to shaping our services, implementing innovative practice, and educating our students, AHP apprentices, and assistants.

There will be the opportunity to move between these different services developing your skills.

You will need to be a car driver - independent means of travel is essential for this role.

Clinical
1. To use highly developed and advanced specialist skills to screen, prioritise and delegate referrals to the service following service standards and referring to other agencies where necessar
2. To act as a specialist clinician in intermediate care within the community and carry a complex diverse case load which may include medical, neurological, traumatic brain injury, surgical, orthopaedic, musculo-skeletal and psychiatric condition
3. To be highly skilled in using and reporting on standardised and non-standardised Occupational Therapy assessments and/or a single assessment process to diagnose and analyse highly complex patient needs in the context of the daily activities following department standards and protocols
