More detail about the role The Northern Cancer Service is delighted to be recruiting for a Clinical Psychologist to join the team. Aspects of the role include: Scope the need for psychological input across cancer services within the Northern cancer service. Provision of individualised psychology assessments and psychological therapy. Working with the clinical team to support them in the psychological factors around care and their work with patients. Conduct a detailed service evaluation and report to highlight the outcomes of the service highlighting areas for further developing and contributing towards future business cases. The post holder with develop the Psychology Service which will complement the current established counselling service available to patients at North Devon District Hospital. There is another Psychologist based in Exeter working in the Cancer Service and you will work closely together Working Pattern: 30 hours per week. The post holder will be based in Exeter or Barnstaple. If based in Exeter, the post holder will offer outreach to the Northern Service providing input to patients and the team onsite and remotely.
